Vacation Home Sales Reach 2nd Highest Mark Since 2006
Here is a national look at vacation home sales. Beach locations are the most popular second home destinations followed by mountains and lakes. Next week I will be posting the Truckee and North Lake Tahoe first quarter market statistics. 2016 is starting off very strong.

Some Highlights:
- 58% of vacation homes purchased were single family homes.
- 51% of vacation homes that were purchased were found online.
- The median price of a vacation home is up 28% from 2014.
